Smart Cat has unsurpassable odour control. The use of wood flour gives exceptionally high absorbency rates, locking away moisture almost instantaneously. Without moisture, bacteria can't grow and therefore no odours are released. The natural woodland pine fragrance masks any hint of residual smell.

In an experiment conducted using leading types of cat litter, over 50 independent testers were exposed to litter dosed with synthetic cat urine laced with live bacteria. After 10 days, the testers were asked to rank the cat litter on how pleasant they smelt.

Smart Cat is the only brand tested that recorded a pleasant smell after 10 days and overall it was the best smelling cat litter in the test group.
