Mineral
cat litter cannot be composted at all and therefore adds to the ongoing
problem of landfill. Smart Cat is ideal for composting.*
Wood chippings and sawdust act as "brown" composting components and
the nitrates in diluted urine act as an activator in the compost making process
to speed it up.
Smart Cat has the extra advantage of being wood-flour-based, so once again
the small particle size works in its favour and aids the speed of the recycling
process by allowing it to decay into the compost at a much faster rate than
wood shavings and chippings.
